Jane Pinel is the founder and publisher of Wellspring Magazine, a nationwide publication for the professionals who work with children; teachers, psychiatrists, medical specialists and recreational workers, as well as parents. The magazine is no longer in publication.
This magazine was the culmination of her degree in psychology from Cornell University, and her Master of Education degree in counseling from the University of New Hampshire as well as her experience as a teacher in special education and art.

Jane Pinel is the author of two books, Dolly: Her Story, a memoir/biography of her mother’s life, and The Picnic Basket, a how-to book on entertaining with picnics. The contents of which were gleaned from her experience as a restaurant owner.

The Picnic Basket is a well written guide to any kind of picnic and the pages are full of unusual suggestions of entertaining, picnic style.
